Welcome to Midwest Fencing Academy!
Whether you've known fencing only from the movies or you've been practicing for years, you are invited to join us! MFA is a professional fencing club serving the community in Chicago and the suburbs. We have several fencing programs, designed to meet the needs of our many different fencers. We are also working with schools and park districts to promote fencing among kids and adults in Chicagoland.
Fencing is an excellent sport as for the body as for mind. It provides a great cardio workout, increases speed and reflexes, improves balance and agility. Fencing also teaches strategic thinking and tactical planning, because to win a bout you need not only your physical strength, but your wits as well. During the Renaissance the discipline took on the aura of high art. Today fencing is a modern Olympic sport that has evolved out of European schools of swordsmanship.

Summer Camp 2009.
Come and gone! Those 5 days went really fast. You guys worked really hard and it's proven on the pictures. I hope our camp was fun and educational for everyone. Good luck in Texas!

I added some results from past seasons. Unfortunately, USFencing.org website posts only results from 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 and I can't find other seasons on Askfred.net neither. Sorry, if I missed someone.

Summer is coming! And so are Summer Nationals! Get ready!
Our summer camp will prepare the advanced fencers for the Summer Nationals competition and let the beginners improve their skills through an intense footwork and bouting. The camp concentrates on technique improvement and competitive skill development.
